University Symphony Orchestra
The University Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Phillip Spurgeon, is composed of graduate students and upper division undergraduates. The Uso meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 - 9:45 pm and gives five concerts per season in Ruby Diamond Auditiorium.

University Philharmonia
The University Philharmonia, under the direction of Alexander Jiménez, is an undergraduate full orchestra. All freshman and sophomore string palyers are required to play in Philharmonia. The UPO meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:10 - 6:10 pm and gives four concerts annually in Opperman Music Hall and Ruby Diamond Auditorium. During the 2002-2003 season, the Philharmonia will tour Florida November 17-21.

University Chamber Orchestra
The Chamber Orchestra performs two concerts per year and is comprised of faculty, graduate students, and advanced upper-division undergraduates. It is under the direction of Phillip Spurgeon.

University Opera Orchestra
The Opera Orchestra is under the direction of Douglass Fisher, artistic director of the FSU Opera. The FSU Opera department presents three full-scale productions per year.
