Landis Green

Leach Recreation Center

Oglesby Union

The University Center surrounds Doak Campbell Stadium and houses many FSU administrative offices including the Visitor Service Center, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Admissions. Doak Campbell Stadium is the home of The Florida State Seminoles and The Marching Chiefs.

The middle of Landis Green offers a great place to stop, sit by the fountain and take a break. Landis Green stretches from Landis Hall (south) to Strozier Library (north). It is bordered on the west by the Shores Building and Montgomery Gym.

To see what's happening on the Green, check out the live Landis Hall webcam. It's available during daylight hours.

The Leach Student Recreation Center provides the finest of athletic facilities. Access and equipment rental is free for students. The Center includes an indoor track, Olympic-size pool, saunas, hot tubs, weightlifting equipment, and an aerobics facility. Courts are available for basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and squash. The Center is funded by the Student Activities and Services Fees.

The Oglesby Union amphitheater surrounds a variety of shops offering food and drinks. During the day bands frequently perform for the lunchtime crowd.

The Oglesby Union's West Courtyard is the heart of on-campus activities. Be sure to stop by on a Wednesday morning and browse through the weekly Flea Market.

To the north is the Food Court with a variety of dining choices including Burger King, Pizza Hut and Chick-Fil-A.

At the west end of the courtyard is the Crenshaw Recreation Building. Inside is a 12-lane bowling alley and 10 pool tables.

Within Oglesby Union is Crossroads Cafe, FSU's main cafeteria and a mealtime value. No matter what your appetite, there is a meal plan to satisfy your hunger.

On the upper level is Moore Auditorium. Stop in for 'Movies at Moore,' recent releases and old time favorites, free for students every Tuesday and Friday nights. Also upstairs are study areas, an art gallery, and the offices of most student organizations."

The Oglesby Union Green is a great place to relax between classes. Have a seat at a picnic table or sit beneath a large oak tree. During the year student organizations host concerts, festivals and outdoor movies on the Green.
